Alison Kills Kate's plan for tour Down Under

Updated 13:20pm on 6 Apr 2009

Kate Moss won't be joining The Kills for the Australian leg of their tour after Alison Mosshart put her foot down. The supermodel wanted to join her boyfriend Jamie Hince for Easter Down Under, but the band's singer Alison didn't want her getting in the way of the band and ruining "their flow".

Denied: Kate Moss will not be heading off to Australia

A source revealed: "Alison thought any appearance by Kate would take the attention away from their music.

She kicked up a real stink and insisted Kate didn't come." Instead, Kate, 35, will now be travelling to the Maldives for a luxury spa break with her daughter Lila Grace and pal Fran Cutler.

The source added: "It was a lastminute decision to head for the Maldives, but a relaxing Easter break will be better for her than the strain of being on the road with Alison."
