Stars are given a soaking by Deyn

Updated 12:16pm on 20 Apr 2009

Agyness Deyn is not usually one for hellraising - but she ruffled a few feathers at the Coachella festival in California with some uncharacteristically loutish behaviour.

Thrills 'n' spills: Agy partying

The 26-year-old model hardly ingratiated herself with the cool crowd in the VIP area last night when she thought it would be funny to start chucking drinks around.

She was at the final night of the three-day music bash with a g roup of pal s including designer Henry Holland and singer Remi Nicole.

Our spy said: "The gang were being rather boisterous and attracting stares from the hip crowd. They were larking around and things must have just got a bit out of hand. Agy started throwing drinks about and soaked a fair few people. No one really knew how to react - it was a bit embarrassing."

Among the stars in the VIP area who were spotted looking on disapprovingly were Paris Hilton and her boyfriend Doug Reinhardt, and Kimberly Stewart. Henry was seen egging on his muse Agy, telling her:

"Throwing drinks on people is childish, mean - and also hilarious! Stop it Waggy!" The group were obviously in the swing of things at the festival, posing for the cameras by making a human pyramid, with Agyness on top of Henry, Remi and Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw.

Brit acts at the event have been making a big impression, with the likes of

M.I.A., The Ting Tings and Jamie Hince's band The Kills going down a storm. Kate Moss f lew in to see boyfriend Hince perform, but kept a low profile and stayed away from the partying. Our spy added: " She arrived quietly and watched Jamie without being spotted by many people. They went back to party at the Chateau Marmont hotel in Hollywood."

Agyness got to be where she is from focusing on the small things-- using the power of small, if you will-- to keep things in perspective: taking care of her career, having fun, not hurting anyone. This is a shining example of how to carry yourself, I say.
