It's time to split, Kate Moss

Updated 16:41pm on 23 Apr 2009

It looks like Kate Moss's space-age dress couldn't stand up to some good old-fashioned partying.

Kate of play: Moss with David Walliams

The 35-year-old model was out with a gang of celebs last night, but by the end of the evening her dress - designed by Balmain and costing well into four figures - had ripped at the seam. She was with boyfriend Jamie Hince at Movida in Soho, where they celebrated the birthday of her pal Fran Cutler. Fran looked, well, let's just say a little less glamorous than Kate. They were also joined by hellraisers Rhys Ifans and Noel Fielding, Little Britain comic David Walliams and Sir Philip Green's daughter Chloe.

Ripping fun: Kate's dress gives way

Our spy said: "Kate was drinking bottles of Pandor absinthe with Noel Fielding and Rhys Ifans. As you can imagine, things got quite messy. All three of them were dancing on the sofas, but Kate couldn't resist taking things one step further and started dancing on the bar.

Guests: Rhys Ifans, Fran Cutler and Noel Fielding

Everyone was cheering her on, and she was loving it." Fran and Kate lived up to their party girl reputations, being the last celebs to leave the club, just after 4am today.
