Beyoncé is so beautiful she would look good in a bin liner. Which is just as well, as her cantilevered dress last night bore a striking resemblance to some skilfully crafted refuse sacks.

The singer-cum-actress was at the New York premiere of her movie Obsessed, in which her on-screen husband is stalked by a crazed office temp. Oddly enough, the Fatal Attraction-esque film has not been shown to critics.

While she looked in danger of spilling out of her black dress, Beyoncé bared even more flesh for the cover of Los Angeles Confidential.

The 27-year-old sizzled in a white Hervé Léger swimsuit, and inside said her marriage to rapper Jay-Z was "way stronger" than other couples.

"We're not perfect, it's just natural for people to start rumours and try to break things up," she said.

"You have to have a very strong relationship, way stronger than people who aren't being scrutinised."

And last night, on the red carpet, she added: "It's weird to watch myself on screen. When I'm in the theatre tonight I'll be watching the audience. It's a very strange thing to see yourself that large on the screen." We're sure her fellow audience members didn't complain...
