Lily Allen's outfit is a little bit silly

If Lily Allen is going to a fancy dress party, and she's decided to go as a hoodlum who has just nicked a nice old lady's handbag, then her costume is excellent.

But if she is trying to make a fashion statement, then it is definitely in a language we can't understand.

The 23-year-old singer sported a conservative Chanel bag with a more modern ensemble (and a beanie) in a clash of styles last night. She's was out having dinner at Nobu in Mayfair.
