Ricky Gervais: 'My role was to put Ben Stiller off filming'
Last updated at 14:01pm on 13.05.09Ricky Gervais has revealed how he loved to put Ben Stiller off during the filming of Night At The Museum 2, which had its world premiere in Leicester Square last night.
The sequel to Night At The Museum reunites Stiller with many original cast members.
Gervais said of his role: "This is just fun but I wouldn't want to miss it for the world."
"The idea was to put Ben off and make him laugh...He takes it so seriously and he's such a professional."

Asked if the pair would be enjoying a night on the town yesterday evening, Gervais said: "If 'out on the town' is both of us sitting on the sofa drinking wine, he's welcome because that's what I'm going to be doing."
The film aims to bring to life the Washington-based Smithsonian Institution, which houses the world's largest museum complex, with more than 136 million items in its collections.
