Hundreds of screaming fans greeted pop stars the Jonas Brothers for the premiere of their latest film.

Hordes of teenage girls, some of whom admitted to skipping school to be in London's Leicester Square, sang along to the band's music and shrieked as they arrived.

Joe, Kevin and Nick Jonas, who appear in a Disney TV programme as well as recording music as a band, have made a 3D film of an arena concert called Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience.

Talking about the turnout, eldest brother Joe, who is the band's frontman, said: "The fans are incredible and they came out in such big numbers today, it's amazing."

Asked if they would continue performing if they didn't have such a fan base, middle brother Kevin said: "Absolutely, there was a time in our lives when we knew this was what we wanted to do forever."

The film, out on May 29, also features footage of real American fans screaming, and sometimes collapsing at the sight of the band.

The concert features guest turns from fellow Disney stars Taylor Swift and Demi Lovato.
