Face off: England flanker James Haskell (right) and girlfriend Felicia Field-Hall
Flanker James Haskell was devastated when model Felicia Field-Hall ended their five-year relationship last week.
Haskell, 24, who plays for club side Wasps, then discovered Field-Hall, 25, had been seeing French tennis coach Romain Girbal behind his back.
He then allegedly wrote a number of emails via Facebook to Girbal, 24.
According to The Sun, the first message, reportedly sent last Friday, said: "Hi Romain, you don't know me but I know you. You are the guy who thought it was a good idea to f*** my girlfriend.
"I now know where you live and work. If you don't f*** off back where you came from, you womanising p****, I am going to pay you a visit and make sure the only tennis you play is on your computer."
The message went on to tell Girbal to "back off now quietly" before threatening: "The more fuss you make the more trouble we will have."
Haskell then allegedly told Girbal: "I suggest you keep your d*** in your pants tomorrow when you play tennis with her. Then I would stop seeing her, I'll be watching."
The messages have reportedly been circulated after Girbal forwarded them on.
Haskell's agent, Anthony Noguera, said he "had no proof" the messages were from his client, and refused to comment further today. A spokesman for the Rugby Football Union said: "This is a private matter for James."
