Paris & Peaches unite in attack of the divas

Updated 15:04pm on 19 May 2009

This is every event organiser's nightmare: notoriously demanding celebrities Paris Hilton and Peaches Geldof at the same event. The pair bumped into each other at a star-studded Cannes party last night, but thankfully decided not to join forces and stage a two-pronged diva strop.

A bit tatty: Peaches in her white gown last night, and stunning Domino host Penélope Cruz

They were at the Akvinta Vodka Hollywood Domino party, a glitzy contest for the tiles game, which is all the rage in Tinsletown at the moment.

The night was hosted by the infinitely more talented and glamorous Penélope Cruz, who outshone both Paris and Peaches despite suffering from the flu. Sir Elton John's partner David Furnish won the tournament, bagging himself Noa jewellery and a £4,000 tin of Seruga caviar.

Peaches later changed into a flowing white number for the Chopard party at the Baoli restaurant - but her unglamorous tattoos scuppered her bid to achieve the timeless Audrey Hepburn look.

More like the Audrey Tattoo look!

To be a Diva one must have talent, e.g. Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, etc. These 2 do not have even a glimmer of talent and only have Z list status because of rich daddies. Title should read "Parasites unite"

Peaches looks a million times better without bright red lipstick on.
