Amy Winehouse helps design clothing range

Remember the days when Amy Winehouse used to look healthy and stylish? She actually had a great image, what with her gold pumps, trademark beehive and sultry black eyeliner.

Healthy and stylish: Amy Winehouse in her prime

Now trendy fashion label PPQ wants to capture that distinctive look and are due to create a Winoinspired range.

Designer Amy Molyneaux said: "Yes there have been talks with Amy and we are now in the first stages of the project. The range will be all about highend statement pieces, inspired by Amy's style. For example, maybe a dress or an amazing piece of jewel lery l ike a bracelet."

We revealed earlier this year that PPQ is set to make a range with Peaches Geldof to rival Kate Moss at Topshop, and its designs are regularly worn by brat-pack members including Jaime Winstone and Daisy Lowe.

Back To Black singer Amy, 25, has spent most of the past six months in St Lucia, and yesterday was rushed to hospital complaining of chest pains.

The idea of pinning her down to work on a project seems unlikely, but PPQ seems unfazed. Ms Molyneaux added: "It's going to be distributed online, we are going to be providing all materials and doing the design, but Amy will definitely be involved in the creative process.

" It will be very dif ferent to Peaches' line for PPQ as that was more of a diffusion line. This will be a homage to Amy's look."

She looks so good in that pic.

It is sad she abuses herself considering her talent.
