Danielle Lloyd needs surgery after nightclub attack

Danielle Lloyd had emergency surgery after being badly gashed in a nightclub attack by two women.

Agony: Danielle outside club

The 25-year-old model screamed “help me I'm going to die” as she lay injured at Marylebone's Crystal club.

Distressed: blood-spattered Danielle

Friends who rushed to help were also covered in her blood. She suffered a severe cut to her right calf after she was pushed onto a table and landed on glasses which shattered in the early hours of yesterday. As well as an operation, she needed cosmetic surgery for her leg injury and stitches on a back wound. She was recovering in hospital today. Photographs showed a blood-spattered Lloyd lying on the pavement outside the club waiting for an ambulance.

Before: Danielle and Jamie going into club

Lloyd was with a group of six friends, including her boyfriend, the Spurs player Jamie O'Hara, 22.
A group of women are said to have started shoving their way onto their table.

Hospital bound: Danielle on crutches

A source said: “Dani was arguing with a girl, who pushed her and she landed on a glass. The cut in her calf was so bad she must have been in shock because she didn't realise what had happened at first and carried on the scuffle on the ground.

Blood spurted out of her leg and hit a number of people around her. The gash was so big her calf was hanging open.” The source added that even though police were in the club, the music was not stopped and people continued to dance. Two women were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and were released on bail. Lloyd was attacked in Funkymojoe bar in east London earlier this month.

New figures show a quarter of all violent assaults are carried out by women.

Franklin & Marshall is a university in Pennsylvania, USA. Must be the logo of choice in Britain as I saw numerous t-shirts and hoodies on my recent trip to the UK.

I have never really got over the fact that she seems only willing to date footballers. I do believe she got attacked also last week in a Club in East London.

Best avoid these places in future. So many stories of this sort of thing in this sort of place, even murders. And obviously so frequent, not that interesting, as the music played on.
