Amy Winehouse asks for a chef she can fly home

Amy Winehouse says she won't return to London unless she can find a St Lucian chef to move to the UK and cook for her. Pals are pleased her diet has improved since living on the Caribbean island after a period of living on takeaways and sweets.

Caribbean cuisine: Amy Winehouse has finally found her appetite

Now that she's found her appetite, Amy, 25, wants to bring a bit of the Caribbean cuisine home with her. A friend told us: "One of Amy's favourite things about St Lucia is the food and she'd love to have that as a reminder of the island when she is back in the UK.

"She has said there's no way she'll come back unless she can find a chef she likes and who is prepared to move country. She really doesn't look after herself when she is back in London, and is always skipping meals.

"She often eats St Lucian feasts courtesy of one of her favourite restaurants, The Pier at the Sandals Halcyon resort. She often gets her favourite, smoked flying fish, crab cakes, and chicken rotis, delivered."

Amy, who was slated for her recent performance at the St Lucia Jazz Festival, just needs to find the right chef to bring back. The source added: "She has had her friends make enquiries with some of the chefs at Sandals and some other restaurants on the island.

"That way, being back will not be too hard to deal with."

Well...at least her mind's on food...as opposed to being on crack!
