Outburst: Susan Boyle
Police had to intervene after Susan Boyle clashed with guests in a hotel lobby.
The Britain's Got Talent finalist, dubbed the Hairy Angel, is reported to have launched into a four-letter word tirade after two strangers tried to “wind her up”. The Scottish singer was alleged to have shouted: “How f***ing dare you? You can't f***ing talk to me like that.”
The outburst is alleged to have taken place at the Wembley Plaza Hotel yesterday at 5pm. A police officer stationed at the hotel approached Ms Boyle, 48, afterwards to ask her: “Is there a problem?” to which the singer allegedly replied: “Of course there's a f***ing problem.”
Witnesses said Ms Boyle ran out of the exit followed by the police officer. Guests watched as police spoke to the singer in the hotel's car park.
An officer was heard telling her: “You are in the public eye, you must learn to expect this sort of thing.” A spokesman for the show said: “The police were not called. They were already present.”
It comes the day after Ms Boyle was accused of another four-letter word outburst at the hotel when judge Piers Morgan praised fellow Britain's Got Talent contestant Shaheen Jafargholi.

No matter what the press said to her that resulted in the response that was what the media wanted, think about the insulting things that were said about her from the time she performed on Britain's Got Talent. Every day it was something designed to undermine her confidence. A person can take only so much. People cheer for the underdog and then, when someone does well, they proceed to cut them down. Make a CD now, Susan. Give the people who really are your fans a chance to show you how many friends you really have.

Great Susan, be yourself and you gain respect. Only thing to work on is not bursting into tears but to actually remain in control when provoked. Some media training will do it. If someone deserves an occasional curse, then so be it.

It would be useful to hear what the people were saying to her before she reacted to see if it was a legitimate response.

Of course the honeymoon period will end and she'll end up just another celebrity for the tabloids to cynically put on a pedestal to knock back down again. Until then I wish they'd leave the poor woman alone - she's only human at the end of the day and it's small wonder she's cracking under the world's expectations.

Shock horror, Susan Boyle is only human and it's ridiculous to expect otherwise. The public seems to think they own anyone who steps into the public limelight and should do as they demand, not be who they are.
Susan doesn't have to stand there and take whatever she has thrown at her, she's quite entitled to give a hearty F-Off when deserved. Good for you, Susan, keep on being human rather than an artificial celebrity.

You can hardly blame her for her rather extreme behaviour - her sudden and very positive exposure to half the world after living such a sheltered life must be difficult to deal with. If she's going to remain the public eye I think she needs to be taught how to compose herself in front of her fans and the paps - perhaps someone could give her a few lessons - BGT should offer to pay for it really. I worry that if she doesn't rein herself in a bit then her behaviour will only leave her open to abuse and public ridicule.

She's already too big for her hairy boots. Wonder what she'll do if she doesn't win?
