Susan Boyle fit enough for Britain’s Got Talent final

Singer Susan Boyle will perform at tomorrow's Britain's Got Talent final, it has been confirmed.

Ready: Susan Boyle

Reports today suggested the Scottish spinster faced the axe from the talent show amid fears she was “cracking up”under the pressure. She allegedly swore in front of a police officer after having a row with guests at the Wembley Plaza Hotel. That came after the favourite to win was reported to have had a four-letter rant at the television after one of the ITV show's judges Piers Morgan — on whom she has confessed to have a crush — praised fellow contestant Shaheen Jafargholi.

A source told The Sun: “The last thing producers want is a meltdown on national TV. It's been made clear that if she's not right mentally, she won't appear.”

But today a show spokeswoman denied the reports and said Boyle, 48, is going ahead as planned. She said: “There is no truth whatsoever that Susan Boyle is being axed or is leaving the show.”

Im glad she didnt win!

The best act won

Susan made me cry from the very first time I heard her voice - as a matter of fact, tears came to my eyes before she completed the first line in her song. I have been crying ever since ...every time I play her song. She did to me only what I thought President Obama was capable of doing to me when ever I hear his voice. No comparison though. But something in the voices of those two people make me cry, happily. Susan your voice is incredible. I wish you the best. When I am feeling down, I listen to you voice which cheers me up. I am 64...

She a tough Scot, have no fear!!

If Susan wins the producers could have a big problem on their hands. The woman is obviously mentally ill, and unbalanced.

My money is on Julian Smith, a real gentleman if ever I saw one, and he's sane enough to handle the fame and humble enough to appreciate the wealth.

People can be so shallow and so ignorant...if the picture isn't pretty no one will look. Susans voice will take her to places that all the "pretty people" of the world can only wish they could go to. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and Susans beauty is in her voice. Good luck to her I know she will come out the winner.

I would have thought what the producers want most of all is a breakdown on national TV! Sweet old ladies don't have a habit of cursing like sailors on shore leave - even what with being goaded by media, I would have thought the natural response of a 'sweet old lady' would be to just start crying. This stuff is all scripted anyway. They needed an ugly duckling to swan gimmick. She wants to be careful - any more swearing on her part and they'll find someone else to win.

Hmmm, some more publicity for her then?? So the winner hasn't already been selected I guess....

- Bill, Halford, Warwickshire

A possible breakdown or maybe she's possibly not a very nice person.

- Steve, London

This 'woman' is a national disgrace!. She may well have a fine voice and was likely adorable prior to the invention of the electric light bulb, but come on puhleaaase!. She has had her moments of fame, as she has had with the ugly stick, now its time to return to goatherding in the highlands and let Britain move onward.

- Joe Regan, USA

Much ado over nothing really....

- Ali Sichilongo, London

I undeerstand that Susan is going to be singing the jazz standard SOMEONE TO WATCH OVER ME. And this has to be the understatement of the year.
