Eminem's the butt of Bruno joke at MTV awards

Eminem walked out of the MTV Movie Awards last night after a stunt by Sacha Baron Cohen left him feeling a little bummed out. Baron Cohen, in character as camp Austrian fashion journalist Bruno, flew above the audience in a harness dressed in little more than a pair of feathery white angel wings and a gold jockstrap.

Swinger: Sacha Baron Cohen, as Austrian gay TV presenter Bruno, caused a sensation
He then plummeted towards the crowd, "accidentally" landing face down on the rapper with his bare bottom in his face.

Bruno nose: Eminem looks like he's about to pass out as he gets to the bottom of the shenanigans, and then walks in disgust as Bruno hangs helplessly in the background
The outrageous comic joked: "Is the real Slim Shady about to stand up?" But Eminem did not look amused and screamed expletives as his burly bodyguards wrestled Baron Cohen off him - while still attached to the high wires.

Falling angel: Bruno's now-infamous descent into the crowd
Eminem shouted " Are you f***ing serious?" before storming out with his entourage.
Baron Cohen's descent to the audience was included in rehearsals, but Eminem (who had earlier performed two tracks) didn't take part in that piece of the run-through.

What the...? Eminem's concern grows as Bruno gets even closer
It is still unclear whether the rapper - who has regularly landed in hot water with lyrics critical of homosexuality - was aware that the stunt would end up that way.
Baron Cohen's publicist Matthew Labov refused to comment, and a spokeswoman for MTV would not confirm whether Eminem was caught by surprise.
At any rate, it went down a treat with the crowd. Cameras panned across the audience, variously catching Cameron Diaz, Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens in stitches. It even elicited an emotion out of Zachary Quinto, who plays Spock in the new Star Trek film.
Teen vampire flick Twilight was the big winner, taking five of the major awards. The big loser was Slumdog Millionaire, nominated for six and walking away empty handed. The late Heath Ledger was named best villain in The Dark Knight, while Zac Efron and Ashley Tisdale won best male performance and best female breakthrough performance for High School Musical.

Bloody brilliant. Eminem should have laughed it off. Though lucky he didn't put his head forward.

"Will the real slim shady please stand up!"... pure genius...
Sure Sasha Baron-Cohen's humor is juvenile... But it's also artful in that it's done with the purpose to push people's buttons and kinda reflect a mirror or our societies hypocrisy...
Bravo Bruno...
