On set: Uma with Carradine in Kill Bill
Thurman was supporting her fiancé, financier Arpad Busson, who hosted the night to raise money for children's charity ArK.
Carradine, 72, was found dead in a hotel room wardrobe in Bangkok with a rope tied to his neck and genitals.
A postmortem examination today found that he may have died from accidental suf focation.
It was speculated that his death could have been caused by a sex game that went wrong. he was found by a maid at the Swissotel nai Lert Park hotel, which is famous for its "penis shrine" of female fertility spirit Chao Mae Tubtim, which has hundreds of phallic sculptures - some 10ft tall - piled around it.
The hotel, next to the British Embassy, is a major tourist destination because of the shrine.
Tiffany Smith, of Binder & Associates, Carradine's management company, said the actor had flown to Thailand last week and started work on the film Stretch two days before his death.
She dismissed initial reports that five- times- married Carradine might have committed suicide and said: "he really appreciated everything life has to give... and that's not something David would ever do to himself."
She added that he had been " in good spirits" when he left the US for Thailand, and had been "excited" to be part of the new film project.
