But the singer was so worried before her Summertime Ball performance that she even made sure she practised her "thank you" speech during her sound check.
Our backstage mole said: "She is still very humble and was very anxious beforehand. To hear her practising her thank yous was very sweet and took everyone backstage by surprise." Naturally, there was no need for her worries - she blew the crowd away with a characteristically assured performance (at least it looked assured).

One person who clearly doesn't suffer from nerves is rapper Akon. He launched himself into the crowd during his set which, as our picture shows, not everyone was entirely happy about.
