A-Team plan comes together with Liam Neeson
Updated 08:13am on 10 Jun 2009Liam Neeson is in talks to star in a movie version of The A-Team.
The 57-year-old Irish actor would play cigar-smoking Colonel John “Hannibal” Smith, leader of four war veterans who become vigilantes, in an adaptation of the cult 1980s series.
The part was played by George Peppard.
Bradley Cooper, who recently starred in comedy The Hangover, is tipped to play 'Face' (aka Templeton Peck).
The role of BA Baracus, played by Mr T in the cult '80s show, is expected to go to rapper Common.
Former Cheers star Woody Harrelson is expected to complete the line up as 'Howling Mad' Murdoch.

I used to like watching the A Team. It was all action and none of the talk shows we get today.
