Loved-up Kylie Minogue puts in a shift at in-laws'bar

The bar was rocking at the medieval castle in Spain's Tossa de Mar, and if you wanted a drink, you would have been forgiven for thinking: "I should be so lucky!"

Spanish holiday: Andres Velencoso and Kylie

But there was no need to worry, as help was on its way. The locals must have spat their sangria all over their patatas bravas when they saw Kylie Minogue walk in to pull a shift behind the bar.

The pint-sized (pun intended) singer, 41, decided to muck in at the joint that belongs to the parents of her boyfriend, model Andres Velencoso.

The couple visited his home town last week, and our source tells us: "The bar was a man down and was getting quite busy.

"Kylie proved she's no diva by volunteering to help. She had no qualms about getting stuck in, and spent most of the night washing glasses.

She covered her head with a scarf and stayed in the background so people wouldn't recognise her. But as the night wore on, people twigged and word got round.

"Andres' family adore her and she has made a lot of effort with them. She is learning Spanish and is learning to cook some of the local dishes, including a fish casserole called suquet. She is really being accepted."

She met the 31-year-old hunk last October and there are rumours around that they are planning to wed.

Of course, there's no reason to think that Australian-born Kylie would be anything other than a dynamo behind the bar. Anyone who's been in a London pub in the past decade will tell you that pub work seems to be something of a national pastime down under.
