Having just finished a hectic eight-date run at the O2 Arena it would be natural for any woman to indulge in a bit of retail therapy.

But Britney Spears was more interested in making her sons happy as she treated them to an outing to the world's most famous toy store.

Clutching Thomas the Tank Engine balls, Sean Preston, three, and Jayden James, two, spent a couple of hours exploring the seven floors of Hamleys, stopping for a while in the cuddly toy department.
Packing: the gifts can hardly fit in the boot
After a shop assistant loaded the car with their newly-purchased goods, Britney, 28, even sent her bodyguard out for another British treat for them all - a Mr Whippy ice-cream - before heading back to her hotel.
The singer ended the London leg of her Circus world tour on Sunday night and heads up north today for the Manchester date of the tour.

In your Pics, what's that child got in its mouth? Does the chap in a hat need a haircut? Hamleys was never Naff when I went there.
