Chelsea footballer Joe Cole and his new wife Carly Zucker have joined the trend to holiday at home after their Ł3 million wedding last weekend.

Cole, 27, and his 24-year-old bride were seen shopping near their Chelsea home. They married on Saturday at The Royal Hospital nearby.

She was sporting a suitably large wedding ring, right, which the footballer said he chose to match her four-carat emerald- cut engagement ring. She now plans to give up her job as a fitness instructor, saying: “I don't feel I need to prove anything, or that I need a career to feel good about myself.”
