So who knows exactly what's up Lily Allen's nose?

Lily Allen has sworn off drugs - so eyebrows were raised when she seemed to have something suspicious up her nose after a party.

Party girl: Lily Allen leaving the celebrity bash

The singer was snapped leaving a bash hosted by PR mogul Matthew Freud in Notting Hill on Tuesday. In the photograph, she appeared to have something white up her left nostril.

One onlooker said: "No one could work out what it was. Perhaps she was suffering with a cold." Lily's spokesman said today that she had not taken drugs.

And according to photographers, a camera flash can produce a white glow if the subject has a sniffly nose.

Allen, 24, has admitted dabbling in drugs. Earlier this year, she said she used to wake up and "there would have been empty vodka bottles everywhere, drugs, whatever.

"When all this happened I was 21. Becoming famous is all a bit scary and weird and I had no idea how to handle it.

"You go out and you get off your head. You get invited to parties and there's free drink and drugs. Well you do, don't you?"

Last December she said she had no intention of taking drugs "at the moment" - but added she could not say "never again".

The Freud party had a big celebrity turn-out, with Stephen Fry, David Walliams and Jemima Khan showing up.

Barbara: obviously someone has to point out to you what a brain looks like and let you know that people do not keep then in their nose.

Lily Allen has asthma! So the idea that she would take cocaine, or anything along those lines would be very wrong. It would trigger a pulmonary infection, and raise her blood pressure beyond what is considered, above normal. She was diagnosed with asthma when she was 8 years old, so the above quote is very obviously false.

Lily, May I borrow that outfit? I have an odd dance with camels and men this weekend. I know that it would fit in just fine. I plan on wearing the top undone, hope you do not mind?

I only discovered Lily's music recently by accident ; she has incredible
talent and charisma; I just hope she doesnt go off the 'rails' and ruin her career by over indulging in all the nasty stuff out there!

I really like some of her music and lyrics.

Recently, she showed absolutely no humility towards Susan Boyle during her recent health problems. For this upstart she is no more than one big bogey!

Judging from the size of it and some of her previous activities I suspect that the item is in fact her brain.

Looks like a stray piece of tissue. Not surprised she has a cold, she appears to have forgotten to put on the bottom half of her outfit.

Such class. Looking more like a two bit hooker every day.

Still, gets you in the papers and gets you a talk show on BBC3 - with the media lapping this freakshow up
