Unfortunately for actress Emma Watson, 19, the combination of blustery wet weather and freeflowing dress led to a few problems on the red carpet last night. Goodness only knows what she was up to lifting her dress to one side as the rain tipped down - but it certainly didn't escape the attention of eagle-eyed photographers nearby.
Later, on the way home in the car from the afterparty at Middle Temple with boyfriend Jay Barrymore, her wayward dress struck again - as if cursed with bad magic.

She did it on purpose to keep her name in the headlines and to more attention to the fact she is not a little girl anymore. It has nothing to do with weather in England or the price of tea in China. You want grown up roles, show grown up bits. Not good examples, but look at what has happened to the little starlets in the US. Lots of attention, keeps their name in the front, and get to retreat to Betty Ford. Paid each time their picture is taken or name used!

People will see what they want to see - floozy or victim. Personally, I see a very pretty young woman as portrayed in the unfortunate glare of fame.
That picture, though, would be one of many, the "best" one selected for viewing (according to what is considered "best" for the article). The circumstances of the photo, demonstrating WHY she became exposed as she did, would be seen if the rest of the series of pictures this one was taken from were to be made available.
A picture is an instant in time. Its interpretation is subject to how it is presented.

It's unbelievable how the paparazzi just take away whatever innocence these people have, and you people don't make it any better with your encouraging comments. I just hope she doesn't take any of this too seriously and just carries on with her life because its bound to get a lot worse.

For God's sake leave the poor kid alone. Report on something interesting for a change. How would you like it if every time the wind caught your skirt, pictures of your underwear were all over the press? This infantile country, with its obsession with 'Now' magazine and other such mindless crap, makes me sick. And I hate to say it, but it's mostly women - picking holes in other women - who are to blame (although the men who own the media conglomerates are laughing all the way to the bank).

Ajay, that's quite a misinformed comment with a heavy bias towards your own opinion and personal regard of morals, ethics, etc.
Emma probably contributed to the exposure, which many can easily guess, leads to more exposure for Harry Potter at such a light expense. Remember, Emma flashed away with even more private bits revealed last year on her 18th, and has eeked one or two other "oops" moments since then.
Don't blame this on the paparazzi and accuse them of stealing innocence, lol, that's just ridiculous...

You all whine and bitch to leave her alone. She's a star dumbass's. This is now and always will be a part of her life and will get MUCH worse over time. She's doing a film with Marilyn manson for crying out loud where she plays a hooker or stripper or something so don't think she's all that innocent people. She's a big girl now and had best be used to this as i'm sure she is. Her fame will grow as she does as will the paparazzi. Get over yourself thinking you're protecting her.
