‘Amy Winehouse’s welcome to come back to St Lucia any time'

Updated 12:11pm on 15 Jul 2009

Much has been said of Amy Winehouse's return from St Lucia, but a close friend of the Rehab singer has rubbished reports that she is no longer welcome on the Caribbean island.

At home: Amy Winehouse is back from her eventful holiday

The pal told us: “The manager of the hotel she was staying at was sad to see her go, and has said he would love to have her come back to stay again. Many of the staff are also sad she
has left.

“Amy certainly can be a wild child but she's nothing compared to some Brits who holiday in St Lucia. Amy always made a point to talk to people who worked at the hotel, and even looked after their kids when they were working.”

To Mr Price, you should check your facts before claiming that people have never written songs in their lives. Leona Lewis had written many songs pre xfactor and has co-written many of the songs on her new album. Amy had the help of Mark Ronson and others on the Back to Black album, talented though she may be, she is hardly a good role model for people in my age group (22) or younger. If I were a parent I would be scared if my daughter wanted to be like Amy! The public love a train wreck as it is scandal and feeds the newspapers. Look at the tactics Lady Gaga uses, she fully understands how to get and keep attention, the only problem being that it detracts from their music.

Of course she was 'Welcome' at the Hotel in St Lucia. She was part of the evenings 'Entertainment' watching her behave badly when drunk! The same happened to poor old Oliver Reed, the actor. His so-called 'friends' would feed him booze, so he would perform, so this would draw in the punters to watch a 'Famous Village Idiot' making a fool of himself.

Mis Winehouse looks good now. Just hope that she stays away form her so-called former boozing and druggie 'Friends', otherrwise she will be back on the old merry-go-round of addictions again.

God Bless Amy Winehouse.
It's about time she came back to jolly old Blighty and started writing some more of those jolly ditties we all enjoy.
I am glad she looks fit and healthy again and wish her all the best.
A real star , GOD BLESS HER AND ALL WHO SAIL IN HER.

Here, here Mr Pastry. God bless Amy. The Lilys and the Ga gas of this world do not hold a candle to her. Leona Lewis and Alex Burke have never written a song in their lives, as Simon Cowell buys up all the songs they need with his TV fortune. And most of them are rubbish.
