Fears for Mischa Barton's health as police are called to her home
Last updated at 12:31pm on 16.07.09Misch Barton has prompted fears she has fallen off the wagon after she had to call for police assistance for a “medical issue”.
Worry: Concern is mounting for Mischa Barton's health
Officers arrived at the actress's West Hollywood home yesterday afternoon after responding to a non-emergency call. The 23-year-old was then escorted to an unknown location.
A police spokesman confirmed the visit, saying the LAPD was “currently assisting” her, that no other individuals were involved and no one was arrested.
Representatives for Barton have so far been unavailable for comment.
The O.C. star was last year charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and possessing marijuana. She was sentenced to 36 months probation and given a hefty fine. She went to rehab after the incident.
Two weeks ago, London Lite revealed the star was thrown out of the ladies' toilets at London club Whisky Mist for trying to take a pal into a cubicle. When she went into another cubicle alone, she took so long the attendant checked to see if she was all right, before she emerged looking “slightly worse for wear”.
