Katie Price plays down engagement rumours

Glamour model Katie Price today played down reports that she was about to become engaged to her cage fighter boyfriend.

Price, 31, formerly known as Jordan, insisted she was not about to announce her engagement to Alex Reid.

Reid, known as The Detonator, has been pictured cavorting with the reality television star during a holiday in Spain.

Price has recently split from her Australian husband Peter Andre.

But she dismissed reports of an imminent engagement. Writing on her Twitter page, she said: "I'm not getting engaged, nothing of the sort. Just seeing someone I like spending time with!"

Regarding her holiday in Spain, she explained: "I'm away with my friends relaxing while Pete was due to have children this week. It seems whatever I do is wrong!"

A spokesman for Price said: "I can confirm that Katie Price is not engaged to Alex Reid."

i hate seeing people slag katie price off when she is a top woman!! and we all know it. so what she split with pete? wot a problem? everyone has problems in their lives so wot if she wants to see someone else. she is a top woman and really does need everyone to give her a break. i'd be there for her all the way !!! dont listen to anyone who's trying to put you down katie. !! x

Been theire done it Kate ! yet Peter would have been the only man to fight in your corner ONLY IF you would have let him do it............. Fake tans plumped up lips that dont even look right with your weight lose , its time now to really have that reality check girl, as you are not getting any younger. Yes its true you have what it takes to stand up for your self and your rights to do that, but lets face it , this mistake you have made now will haunt you for a very very long time. Just come clean and at least show some dignity

Pete reckons he loves his kids and Harvey? Then why is he out to end Jordans career, knowing she has to look after Harvey for the rest of his life. What a great dad Pete is!!!!!! Keep strong Kate, you will come through this.

Can"t imagine her getting engaged to the gofer unless he is a secret millionare and able to keep her in the lifestyle that she is used to.
Although Jordan seems strong on the outside i feel she just doesn"t know how to handle what is happening to her and just comes out fighting not realising the harm she is doing long term to her children.

I have told my daughter many times now that nobody really gives two hoots about her any more - The naked by the pool antics, the fake affairs with fighters, with her failed clothing line, and her scent and her novel she didn't even write.
