Pixie Geldof has been a number of things in her young life — society girl, club DJ and model — but now she's going to try her hand at the family business. The 18-year-old has been in the recording studio recently, in a bid to convince record bosses she can cut the mustard in the pop world.

Recording artiste: Pixie Geldof is in the studio
We hear that she's caused quite a stir and is now in “advanced talks” with a major record label — but we're not allowed to say which one at this stage.
Before anyone rushes out to buy earplugs, we're told that the record label's head honchos are actually impressed with her vocal talent. We're told: “She has been working in the studio for the past month to try and convince the big wigs that she's got what it takes.
“She surprised everyone, as she actually has a good voice. Coupled with her high profile and rock-chick image, they think she could have a real chance of making it.
“They feel she could be a success with the right guidance, although there is talk that she would have to tone down her partying image — as the general record-buying public might find it hard to relate to a society girl.”
Pixie has even hired PR guru Liz Matthews as she looks to start the next chapter of her fledgling celebrity career.
What are the chances of her first single being her dad's hit I Don't Like Mondays?

The hair has to be a wig. It MUST be. How can any hairstylist of good repute ever approve of such a hatchet job? Doesn't it look like the hair helmet is about to float away or pry itself off her forehead? It's a cry for help. Someone please save the wig!!

Hmmmmmmmmm... methinks shes trading of her parents name - she in no way pretty enough to be a model if her mother and father were "nobodies" .ps that "hair/mop combo" is ridiculous
