Jude Law's pregnant ex-lover shows off her baby bump

Updated 15:57pm on 7 Aug 2009

Jude Law should perhaps look away now. The American model pregnant with his child has chosen to display her bump with pride on the internet.

Bikini shot: Samantha Burke shows off her bump

Samantha Burke, 24, appears dressed in her underwear in photos posted online. Her baby — chosen name Sophia — is due in October, the product of a two-night stand the British actor may live to regret. His fling is expected to cost millions in child support.

Ms Burke's angry parents have described their daughter as “a very sweet girl who didn't flaunt her looks and guys tended to keep their distance”.

This photograph suggests she might not be quite so innocent.

Don't these people believe in condoms? If not for birth control, what about STD's?! Unbelievable in this day and age that people engage in unprotected "casual encounters".

It was her choice to keep the baby or not take a morning after pill, and now she's just making an absolute fool of herself and her baby. Does she not realize that courting this attention doesn't do her any favors? Where are her puritan grandmother and outraged father now? Yeah, that's what I thought.
Go raise your child privately, woman! Show some pride in yourself, for god's sake.
