Peter Andre: I'm completely over Katie Price
Updated 14:56pm on 12 Aug 2009Peter Andre attempted to draw a line under his messy split with Katie Price today, saying he had "said everything he had to say" on the matter.

Since the couple announced they were parting in May, the former glamour model, also known as Jordan, has been pictured cavorting in the Mediterranean, most recently with cage fighter Alex Reid.
Andre said his estranged wife's well-documented antics no longer surprised him, but he distanced himself from a derogatory headline about the 31-year-old, with whom he has two children, Junior and Princess Tiaamii.
Writing on his Twitter webpage, Andre said: "Guys on the front page of one of the papers it says Jordan the drunken s . I didn't say that or reveal why we split. Out of my hands."
The Australian-born 36-year-old told the Daily Mirror he accepted his relationship with Price was completely finished.
"I am over it, so, so over it - 100%," he said. "I didn't think I'd move on this quickly. I thought it would take years. But I've finally accepted our marriage is over. I've shed my last tear.
"Nothing about her can shock me any more. Nothing. When I walk down the street I expect someone to tell me something shocking about her or something new she's said or done. Everyone around me is always shocked but I'm not."
He told BBC Breakfast today that it is now time to move on.
"I think I have said everything I have to say, I really do," he said.
"I think enough's enough and I just want to get on with it. It's become messy and it's become very public."
The Mysterious Girl singer has a new album out on September 14, which he recorded in the studio where Michael Jackson laid down many of his most famous tracks.
Andre said he was also working on a Jackson tribute with the late star's sister La Toya.

i used to watch katie and peter's show the whole time and i loved them as a couple; i was so shocked to see them split but after hearing about it loads i know that it was coming- pete you did the right thing katie never respected you. You deserve someone better than her. If Katie Price really did ever love Peter than she wouldn't be over it so quickly. She does love him and its garbage that she hasn't cried- her relationship with Alex is to prove she is 'tough'- its ok to be upset you are getting divorced! for the kids' sake i hope it is a good divorce as it can be pretty screwed up.
And to all those people who said Pete keeps on going on about it- you obviously dont know anything because in all of his interviews he has always rejected any kind of conversation regarding his divorce. I think he is doing the right thing- good on you and i wish you all the best for your new album.

Well if you really want to convince us of how much you have moved on and how pleased you are about it Mr. Andre. Show us, keep quiet, tell your lawyers everything they need to know, look after yourself, your children and your work. Your ex will do the rest because she has lost her self-respect, dignity and is locked into a downward spiral into which you do not have to be dragged. Lead by example.

I think its pretty sad reading at times... At some point in our life, we have all exsperienced the break up of a relationship.. I watched them both fall in love as many viewers did. I have been were Katie has been and lost love on simular grounds, being complacent almost like a tit for tat until the tit became a tat and they both lost out, yet one had to make that final decision and that was Peter. Being publically humilated would ahve been the last staw for me too. So what if he has to say what he feels in his heart , its attracting strong interest and attention. Its
actually nice to see a MAN cry as it shows he has compelling emotions and not a gob that makes one cringe and fear what that person is going to say yet again demorilizing the one you are meant to love...... I SAY GOOD LUCK PETE as well pray that Katie see what a big mistake she has made by opening up doors for every one to see.....................

Polly ester - he doesnt go on about it all the time, he goes on talk shows etc to speak about his new album. He is a musician after all. But obviously everyone wants to know about jordan and keep asking questions. He has for the most part kept a dignified silence and i think he should be revered for it. Compare it to her disgusting behaviour. There is no comparison. Always way too good for her and she'll realise someday when shes had her fill of flings and exhausted her supply of men...

since all this with katie and peter hit the press he keeps saying he wont comment but thats all he has done. at the end of the day the things katie does is her job always has been and thats what makes money for her kids he knew what she was like when he married her but then again he was a nobody again until he married her

He is becoming more adicted to publicity than Jordan is and he might come unstuck.What happened to the million pound bollywood offer? and now some backer wants to pay him a million plus to do a series on cooking,he didn"t even boil an egg on his reality tv series and now he is an expert chef.
Pete, if people want to throw money at you,take it but people do not throw money unless there is a big return.

I am sick of him going on about how over it he is and he just wants to forget about it.....just when he is releasing a new song and CD about....guess what, his marriage to Jordan !!!! He seems an okay bloke but as for pleading ' lets forget about it'......how about never mentioning it again Pete ?? Instead of using every opportunity to talk about how over it you are ?

To be honest I think he's best off out of the marriage anyway, let's be honest Jordan is only a trophy bird/wife anyway and I very much doubt any self respecting fella would take her antics for long anyway, Apart from gigantic breasts she's hardly a good catch is she, how could you ever trust her, she's proved time and time again that when she's had a drink her clothes come off and she probably sleep with anyone that showed her any attention.

A, you can only be a bigamist if you marry 2 people at the same time. Not being single doesn't necessarily mean getting married again - there's quite a bit in between. Honestly, sometimes I wonder if real life people are as daft as the celebrities...
