Peaches Geldof has now gone cherry

The sometime writer and former wife of Max Drummey was out in Covent Garden — and even the most vision-impaired celeb spotter could not have failed to notice that she had tainted her formerly blonde locks.

The 20-year-old has gone for what she describes as purple, although for the sake of a fruit pun we'd like to say that Peaches has gone cherry (geddit??). Either way, she may well have taken a lead from Cheryl Cole, who also sports the same shade. Do we need to overdo it and make a Cherry Cole joke? Probably not... but it's too late now anyway.
Peaches finished off the new look by sticking a silver bow in her hair as she went to Bungalow 8 in Covent Garden until 2.30am.
She let her fans know about her new colour on Twitter, and isn't the only one who has turned to the website to keep people updated with their grooming habits.
Lily Allen was kind enough to let us know she'd done her nails last night and posted a picture of them.
Whatever next on Twitter? Pictures of Jeremy Clarkson waxing his back?
