Noel Fielding's very sharp comedy

This is one way of drawing a crowd... or at least entertaining them with a comedy sketch. Noel Fielding wielded a giant sharpener as he went to work on the pencil head of his DJ partner Dave Brown last night. The pair entertained the crowd at Vibe Bar for the Brick Lane Takeover in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Close shave: Noel Fielding and Dave Brown entertain the crowd at Vibe Bar

But the night later turned sour for Mighty Boosh star Noel at the event's afterparty.

For laughs: Noel and Dave at the decks

Our spy said: “He began crying on his friend's shoulder at the far end of the room but no one could understand why. Everyone was staring at him because it was so strange to see someone who is normally in such high spirits look so low. He barged past everyone, grabbed his bag and storming out of the bar.”

We don't know what LEAD to his behaviour but we hope he's going to HB all right.
