Brian McFadden is fuming over the photos of Kerry Katona reportedly snorting cocaine while the two daughters they have together are in the house.

The former Westlife singer is “consulting his lawyers” to see if there is any action that can be taken.

Slurring: Kerry Katona looks drunk on This Morning in October

Molly, seven, and Lilly Sue, six, were in another room while their mum allegedly got high on drugs, and Brian was understandably upset when he found out.

A source said: “He is talking to his fiancée Delta Goodrem and is also consulting his lawyers to see what arrangement they can come to about his kids... he no longer wants them to stay with Kerry.

“He no longer feels that they are safe with her.”

'Consulting lawyers': Brian McFadden

Kerry was secretly filmed apparently snorting cocaine at her Cheshire home, and she is now said to have drawn up a shortlist of suspects she believes could have planted the camera.

It's not the first time she's been at odds with Brian over their daughters — he banned her from filming the girls in her reality show for MTV last year.

Kerry admitted taking coke for a while after she split from Brian in 2004, and shocked This Morning viewers when she slurred her way through an interview last October.

Host Philip Schofield asked her if she'd been drinking, but she later said she had simply missed a dosage of her bi-polar medication.

Brian's bombshell is the latest blow for Kerry, who was today dumped from her £250,000-a-year Iceland deal, which was her main source of income.

Iceland said in a statement: “We have always stood by her.

However, following the most recent allegations, we feel it is impossible for Kerry to continue to work for us.”

I think it's a great idea to put the kids under the charge of a man who looks like he needs "L" and "R" written on the top of his shoes to help him remember which foot they go on.

All you know about her is what the press have told you is that any way of judging a person?

If she did drugs she is not alone in the celebrity field now is she?

She comes across more as a victim IMHO. Money and gutter press do this. It should be called the Jade factor which always ends in tears after the gutter press have finished playing with them

- Gary, Brentwood

Is there not someone out there who can help this poor woman. She obviously is crying out for attention.

AND if the news reports can be believed, how on earth did a camera get into her bathroom to film the alleged shots of her doing what she is accused of. The mind boggles, just another way for people to make money on the back of unfortunates. Including Max Clifford, when she was high in the popularity stakes he took her money, now he is berating her on tv.

As for Brian perhaps if he had not dumped her when she came out of the Australian jungle - after losing his wedding ring too - huh are we to believe this - then perhaps she would not be in this mess now. Everyone knows she loved(s) him to bits and he went for a wannabee from an aussie soap.

Chin up Kerry there are still people in this world who care.

It's about time! Why on earth he left the children with her in the first place,Lord only knows. A far better life with their dad surely beckons and any judge in their right mind should give him full custody.

Kerry really is not a suitable person to be bringing up kids. Like Britany the kids should be taken away and Kerry can concentrate on getting herself together.

- Dhan Raj, Basildon

Well, with any luck, Brian may get somewhere this time. he's tried to before but failed and Kerry was awareded full custody on all occasions he's tried...

for Molly and Lilly's sake i hope he wins, theyre old enough now to understand whats going on....

- Karen, york

Not that many Z-listers get the goodwill and patience that she has been afforded but she has used it all up. The crisis has not been helped by her inability to free herself of that loathsome sponger of a husband who willl surely take the money and run now.

The sad and sorry tale could end very tragically. She is very likely to lose her children even temporarily, have a relapse and find herself very alone. I hope she turns it round

- Amazonmothe, hasting

Kerry is a mixed up woman who desperately needs all the help she can get.
Although Iceland have done the right thing, this has shades of the Kate Moss drugs scandal which certainly hasn't left her jobless and out of favour.
