Nigella Lawson is lady who lunches
Updated 10:25am on 28 Aug 2009What has happened to our beloved domestic goddess? It seems the cook has gone on strike and headed off to Scott's of Mayfair. No home cooked suppers or TV cookery shows involving Nigella Lawson eating moreish midnight treats in her pyjamas.
MONDAY
Nigella was spotted at Scott's three times this week. Surely such loyalty deserves a free meal? The first time was on Monday night with husband and gallery owner Charles Saatchi and friends, the second time was on Wednesday night again with hubby in tow.
WEDNESDAY
And it turns out yesterday she went back for third helpings but this time with a mystery man for a change of routine. At least Nigella's eating out habits should help keep the credit crunch at bay.

She does not look like she eats a lot, Investment Banker. She is actually much thinner than she has been for a long time. She looks beautiful and healthy and if I looked like her I'd be a very happy lady indeed.

Re the "investment banker's" comment below - all I can say is "How rude!" - but their comments definitely show them up in a "green" light!

This woman can do no wrong. She should be cloned by the state and dished out to every single male tax-payer in the country that wants one. She is a national treasure.
