George Clooney in the wars at Venice Film Festival

the Venice Film Festival with girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis, 30.
The 48-year-old actor — still nursing a bruised hand after he caught it in a car door at his Lake Como home — is at the festival to promote his film The Men Who Stare at Goats, based on British journalist Jon Ronson's book about the
US army's experiments with paranormal warfare.
Meanwhile Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez enjoyed a film star welcome at the festival, where he walked the red carpet with director Oliver Stone at the premiere of a documentary about Latin America.
