Posh pays dosh after staff gets medieval

Talk about being a damsel in distress! Victoria Beckham was left red-faced after staff at a medieval-themed restaurant accused her of being tight-fisted.

Trouble: Victoria Beckham was caught up in a restaurant tipping row

Waiters at Medieval Times in south California threw down the gauntlet by revealing online that Posh didn't leave a tip when she dined there at the weekend with her three sons.

But we hear Posh was quick to restore her honour. She had an assistant call the restaurant and make a card payment to cover the missing gratuity.

A source said: “The assistant apologised for the mix-up and claimed the service was excellent. She then left a generous' tip to make amends.”

What a noble gesture. Our US cousins are very sensitive about gratuities, so the online accusation was more than embarrassing for Victoria, 35.

Ye olde joust: waiters at Medival Times restaurant

She was there with sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz —as well as a brace of minders. They enjoyed a meal and a jousting tournament, but Posh clearly brought trouble to the Beckham kingdom by allegedly stiffing their waiter.

Now that matters have been brought to a peaceful end, hopefully everyone will be able to live happily ever after.

It is not customary in Europe yo leave any tips of any kind but please, British people, when visiting the States, tipping is NOT an option... it's an obligation. It's usually between 15-20%, though if you get bad service, it's acceptable for you not to leave a tip. Please, so you can avoid being called stingy and cheap, LEAVE ALWAYS A TIP!!!
