Police called to 'domestic disturbance' at Ronnie Wood's house
Updated 11:39am on 16 Sep 2009Police were called to reports of a bust-up at Rolling Stones' guitarist Ronnie Wood's house, Scotland Yard said today.
A member of the public rang police with reports of a domestic disturbance at Wood's house in north London in the early hours of Monday morning.
"Officers attended, there were no offences alleged, so there were no arrests and no further action by police," a police spokesman said.
The 62-year-old Stone had a heated row with his Russian girlfriend Ekaterina Ivanova, some 40 years his junior, according to reports.
The couple got together last year after meeting in a London club where Ivanova was working as a waitress, prompting the breakdown of Wood's 23-year marriage.
His estranged wife Jo is taking part in the new series of Strictly Come Dancing, which starts on Friday.
A neighbour told the Daily Mirror they heard Wood and Ivanova screaming abuse at each other.

The forty year age gap is going to see the one too young to resist the fountain of booze (and possibly drugs) on offer all day. The other sounds too old to stop the boozer user habits of a lifetime. By reports of their drinking binges in public, the pair seem helpless to even want to help themselves. Sadly, as neither are deemed (yet) incapable of looking after themselves, or being of detrimental effect on the other, they seem to be heading fast to a doomed and very unhappy crash scene.
