Vanessa, it has nothing to do with sticking up for her because she's a woman (why women automatically feel they should blindly stick up for each other has always been beyond me), but it has everything to do with sincerity and credulity. The woman makes her money exploiting herself at every turn, and mostly in a sexual manner. The fact that she cose to coyly (try strategically) divulge a rape in her past whilst writing a column, then names the attacker 'off the record' and THEN says she'll never tell publicly who it is, is shameful and insincere. It hardly seems credible, and what makes it worse is that she tossed out that bit of info publicly knowing full well it would spark more lines about her in the media - don't kid yourself. The woman knows how to generate her own publicity. While how she chooses to make her money is her business, when she starting playing fast and loose publicly with rape claims, anyone, male or female has an absolute right to be horrified. It makes a mockery of any real rape victims struggling to decide whether they should go to the police or not.

Don't get me wrong I wouldn't wish rape on my worst enemy but please, she's doing it for ratings and to remain in the limelight, she fears her ex is getting more publicity than she is so had to think of something that would unfortunately make her front page again thanks to the trashy tabloids!

I am female and reading comment from fellow female i am very upset how they can be so horrible with their words. Ok if it had happen to you and then one day you decided to tell the world, would you like it when no one believes you? No. Maybe a love one has the same story like jordon an are very scared to report it.Always think before you go judging people it is not nice. Yes her an peter finished their relationship but we dont no what goes on behind close doors we only no what they wanted us to see. She is not hated by everyone so stop speaking for everyone it irritates me when people says that. I no everyone has their own choice on their lives so does jordan, so lets accept that.

My god how judgemental are you lot! So you're all fully aware of what goes on in Katies life and you've all been raped in the past ? None of you have any right to judge this situation until Katie confirms what's happened or not.....If you had been raped do you really think you would want to expose yourself after the event, be examined, judged, and questioned, maybe she was threatened? or frightened? Obviously you lot are jealous of the fact that this girl has become such a success in the last couple of years, maybe you're jealous of her amazing beauty? I dont know, but one things for sure it's a common thing for poeple to release information about their private life in later years and until you have all been raped I'm afraid you have no right to judge! At least lets give it time and see what comes, and then if it turns out it's a lie then you can judge it, but I'm afraid as with the Michael Jackson scenario, everybody accused him of messing around with children and look what happened.....all that egg on the faces of those sad sad people that just jump to conclusions! I think you all should take a look at your own little sad lives before you start judging others!

people cant call her a liar, i dont think she would say she was raped for publicity.se doesnt have to tell the police who it was either.lots of people are raped and dont report it,they dont want to be humiliated in court and then the rapist either gets off or 5years in jail and only does 1.she could give young girls advice about trying to be careful and not to trust any guys 100 percent,or something along those lines.i wish people would stop being nasty about her all the time.shes a person with real feelings just like all the rest of us.shes had a lot to go thruogh in her life and i think shes a strong lady who deserves some respect.

I think Brenda Leyland is wrong in her comment that all poeple who have been raped become introvert and caucious. I my self was sexually assaulted and am very out going and often go out clubbing where men look at me. i do not feel i need to be caucious of every man i see. It did take me time to feel like this and i was not in the public eye, i can imagine that if she was raped part of Katie's insucurities are masked by her image too the public. I am not saying Katie is telling the truth but everyone knows that she doesnt act like most women and i am sure her public face is very different from how she is at home when alone. If Katie is lying it is one of the most despicable things i can think of but who are we to say she is lying, should she not be given the benefit of the doubt until proved other wise like every other women who has ever said they have been raped?

oh my god, stop and listen to yourselves. Most women that have been raped or abused would hate you for your sympathy. we dont need it, Katie is within her right to choose how she deals with her life. Dont judge a book by it cover. Most of the coments here are from men. who clearly have know idea what it feels to be invaded. How would you feel if it was your wife, girlfriend,mother, sister. just because she is a well known celebratie does not mean she lied about her experince .This is not about getting one over on peter. Its about letting her rapist know she remembers what he did .

Jordan tried to be another person and it was the Impossible dream,there never was a Kate Price only a Jordan,a woman whose mouth talked before her brain thought about it.I cannot stand the sight of Jordan and even though it is sad to see someone self destruct Jordan has created all of the problems herself and could possibly destroy other lives that may be innocent.

Who the hell is interested in what this woman says,too many column inches are devoted to this tat.
On a lighter note I once met this starlet a few years ago when she was opening a sports shop in the era of Dwight York.
I had just been to a chipshop and saw this crowd outside a sports shop,when I wandered over I dicovered Jordan was the celebrity.
As I stood there with my bag she came over and said do you want your merchandise autographing upon which I said it,s a bag of chips,the lads back at work thought it was dead funny when I said who the hell is she.

As a victim of rape myself i find Katie Price's allegations to be nothing more than a publicity stunt. She has raised suspicion on an innocent person who will now have to wait for her to confirm her allegatons before he can clear his name. I think it's time this woman was starved of the attention that she craves before she's able to ruin other lifes over unfouded allagations

I guess every bloke that has ever slept with Jordan will be panicking . Wether he is going to be the one named ? ( It will come out undoubtably , either officially or online in blogs)It may be a lot of people we are talking about here ! I hope the allegations are true , or someones life is going to get ruined over these accusations . As someone already mentioned if she was raped , she should tell the police first , not the paparazzi , then this can be properly investigated and justice can be served .

I have dealt with many rape victims, without fail they become extremely introverted and overly cautious about giving any wrong signals to the opposite sex. Katie Price flaunts her body, adopts sexual poses at the drop os a hat and peppers her conversations with "sexy talk " and innuendo.
SORRY absolutly no way she has ever been raped, her body language and sexual signals are far too confident and blatent.
What an irony that she " mentions this" in OK magazine herself and now says that she is livid that the press are going on and on and on about it.
Katie Price is so addicted to publicity, that the fact that she is now disliked means that she has to find ever new sob stories to attract sympathy, it is becoming farcical.

I suspect that more women than you would think keep similar experiences to themselves, and i wouldnt be so quick to judge them either, being dragged into an alley by a stranger IMO is rare, DATE rape I believe is a huge problem, my experience was around 25years ago and i have NEVER told anyone, a friend experienced the same thing about 20years ago and i am the only person she has told.

Rape is a terrible crime and can devastate the lives of people who are victims of it. If Katie Price has been raped she has my every sympathy and I hope her attacker is eventually brought to justice. I would suggest she reports the matter to the police so they can investigate and recommend she refrains from any further comment to the media about the allegation. If she has been raped she will understand that this is a really serious, distressing issue and should not be the domain of celebrity trash media.

I feel sorry for anyone who's been through a rape, most cases in the past did go unreported. Katie brings up a disabled child, works very hard is big family person an energitic Mum, she's been raped and I believe her she is a straight talker not a somone who sits in the corner wishing they had attention, she makes her way in the world which comes up for much critiscism. She makes mistakes and holds her hands up. She has bravado and is also as human as the next person. Perhaps she's had enough of being bitched at by the likes of people who's job it is to be unpaid bitches, she bitches true but at least she makes sure she gets paid for it and puts food on the kids table, she don't do it for fun, she's about survival and most rape victims are about that. I have a nasty feeling this was a throwaway comment by Katie Price.
However, all it's served to do is throw suspicion on any male she might have been with over the last 50 years. They will end up being hounded and persecuted, not her (she revels in it and makes her own bed).

I heard her on the Matthew Wright show and if this so-called rape really existed, I will be amazed. She was too matter-of-fact and emotionless to me when vaguely recounting it. She's often matter-of-fact and emotionless and I'm sure it's because she cares about no-one but herself and seems to want to stop at nothing to gain sympathy.

I cannot imagine anything being offensive to her to be honest, the way she carries on - and if it was offensive to her, given her boundaries are way over the other field to most people's, then surely reporting the incident should have been the first thing she did.

In the light of a young 9 year old who has recently been murdered by a sexual deviant, she really should put her money where her mouth is and report this officially, before someone is killed....or admit she's lied.

If she wont say who this so called rapist is, then why mention it in the first place! surely she knew saying something like that wouldnt just go un noticed by the press and go away quietly!!

Pete is so better off without her, but its the kids I feel for, As Pete has said, when the kids get older they are going to go on the net, get the old papers and see all that has been said and writen about their own mother!

Please stop giving this awful woman column inches and air time!! She is vile! Her mouth runs away with her constantly - this allegation never came out in the so-called expose with Piers Morgan - though she made other headline grabbing allegations there I seem to recall. She makes ill-informed, exaggerated claims constantly to keep herself in the headlines and only said this when leaping to the defence of her current boyfriend!

Whether true or not, I think it is awful that by saying all these things now she is causing more harm than good for all those woman who have suffered the horrific trauma of being raped or sexually assaulted. They will watch the way this is played out and dread coming forward for fear of being tarred with the same brush! Enough - cut this vile woman's media exposure now, we've had enough!

I have every sympathy for rape victims ,and the rapist should always be brought to justice, BUT... it's hard to feel any sympathy for this vile creature. She just wants attention, sympathy and more attention. Her own life is a mess and she's obviously hoping to destroy others as well.
