Sir Philip Green's girl Chloe blows her Topshop
By Max Thurlow, London Lite Last updated at 12:27pm on 17.09.09Everyone knows how terrifying it can be when your employer turns up without warning.
We can only imagine what it must be like if the boss in question is business tycoon Sir Philip Green.

Size matters: Topshop boss Sir Philip Green with his daughter Chloe
The Topshop supremo, 57, arrived unexpectedly at his flagship store in Oxford Street last night, with his wife Christina and children Chloe, 18, and Brandon, 16.
And he seemed less than impressed by what he found on the unexpected shopping trip.
A fellow shopper told us: “Philip and his daughter were going crazy because Chloe couldn't find a particular top in her size.
“They had seen the top on one of the display mannequins, and Chloe was protesting, If it's on the display, it should be here'.”
Sir Phil, often pictured in the Eye with his pal and business partner Kate Moss, is the ninth richest man in the UK, so we can't imagine he often hears the familiar high street refrain, “What you see on the rails is all we have in stock”.
The source continued: “The poor staff were bending over backwards to try to make sure they had the best shopping experience imaginable. Most people would love that kind of service.”
We're happy to report that Chloe, who has also been known to party with supermodel Kate, left as a satisfied customer.
The source added: “Sir Philip clearly wasn't happy that his daughter wasn't getting the size she needed straight away.
“He was overheard to be saying, Just get it off the mannequin. I'm going upstairs, just deal with it'.
“His daughter took the mannequin's clothes, and seemed to calm down after that.”

Chloe sounds a little pretencious to me, Sir Philip should on one hand be happy stock is selling and on the other be dissapointed there were no more in stock, thats the problem with English retailers never prepared for customers and never prepared to go and check the stockroom, go look at New York Sir Philip, bet your daughter wouldn'r have that problem in your new shop there, would she?

Just goes to show that service does not exist in the High Street shops. I would recommend visiting a shop which is run by the owner (yes these places still exist) where you will get proper service. The sooner the main High Street chains go under the better!

New money, what do you expect.

If Sir Philip Green were clever enough, he would have told his darling daughter to shut up. Now we all know, Topshop is NOT properly stocked. Ah well, back to Marks & Spencer!

Andy, Don't believe everything you read in the papers, especially if a 'source' rather than someone with a name is providing the 'information'

Chloe 18, sounds like a right spoilt little brat...I quote, A fellow shopper told us: “Philip and his daughter were going crazy because Chloe couldn't find a particular top in her size.
“They had seen the top on one of the display mannequins, and Chloe was protesting, If it's on the display, it should be here'.”
Get a grip girl, more worrying things happening everywhere other than your size not being available....But then again, in your 'want for nothing world' I guess it's a monumental problem.
Poor shop assistants...
