Sweet Jade Ewen so raunchy as a Sugababe

London Lite
Updated 12:56pm on 23 Sep 2009

When Jade Ewen first appeared on our screens as a Eurovision contestant, her squeaky-clean image won the nation's hearts.

Hot pants: Jade Ewen on set

But in an attempt to fully immerse herself as one of the Sugababes, Jade has adopted a sexy new look. She was spotted in black leather hotpants and a bustier while shooting a raunchy video for the group's next single, About A Girl, in Los Angeles.

Quite a stretch: Jade settles into her new role

We revealed yesterday how Jade, 21, had been whisked onto a plane as soon as she agreed to join the group. Keisha Buchanan, the Sugababes' last founding member, revealed only on Monday night that she had been forced out.

Hot stuff: Jade, Amelle and Heidi filming their video in the Californian desert

But bandmates Amelle Berrabah and Heidi Range, also dressed in sexy bondage style outfits, put all the drama behind them to focus on shooting the video, which involved writhing around an old car and a tatty caravan in the blazing Californian desert. The trio performed separate dance routines in the 100 degree heat before coming together for the first time for a synchronised dance routine.

What a bunch of 'Muppets' the Sugarbabes management must be.....Keisha was the 'Sugarbabes'....big, huge mistake guys!

She'll no doubt go on to make record sales and numerous numbers 1's.

You go GIRL! Who needs a bunch of back stabbers anyway?

Maybe and Keisha and Mutya could form a new band with Jordan. She's a great 'singer' and could probably do with some publicity too!

Heidi has been in the sugababes longer than Mutya!, The group ony got chart sucess when Heidi joined, you all talk about the orignal line up, but the original sugababes got dropped by London Records because they was rubbish, then S left because of being Bullied! then in came Heidi, then 4 number 1's later and 3 top 5 albums including and number 1 album, Mutya leaves, every one said they was over then Amelle joined and another number 1 single 1 number 1 album and another top 5 album later Amelle left because of being Bullied, oh then Keisha got fired for being a bully! Keisha was a bully end of why should a bully get sucuess! she deserved what she got! Long live the sugababes, it don't matter who is in it, that means that the sugababes could still be around in 60 odd years!

the only thing i disagree with is calling the album sweet 7, it none of their 7th album!

If you like the music buy it - if you don't who cares!!

Amelle - brought an edge to the group that was not there - looks great and has a fantastic raw voice
Heidi - is just as beautiful as her voice and Jade who knows - but good luck to them!!

Hopefully for once we can concentrate on the Sugababes sound rather than all the rumoured fights that have apparently happened in the past!

Who Cares? It's only pop music; not worth worrying about is it?

Jamie Theakston is an idiot then,
sorry but a band has nothing to do with a football team Mandy.
So the Beatles could reform by chucking 4 new guys? I don't think so.

Maybe the bully was finally forced out?

Heidi is now very smug, her plan worked for stabbing Keisha in the back. The peroxide blond talentless waste of space.

How can they dare call themselves the 'Sugababes' when none of the original members who created the name are still affliated with the band?

I'm really disappointed with the recent news. Keisha always seemed very nice, and in every interview or appearance was extremely dedicated and loyal to the group - Sugababes meant everything to her. Also, and most importantly, she had the strongest vocals and often carried them live when Heidi and Amelle struggled with their notes (just listen to some of their acoustic material online and you'll see what I mean).

I plan on boycotting all future "Sugababes" music. It just won't be the same - especially when we know she was KICKED-OUT and had no choice in the matter. And new rumours that Heidi instigated the coup and then recruited Keisha's 'friend' Jade... The politics and need for publicity has put me off putting my money into their bank accounts.

I hope Island Records has a last minute change of heart and reinstates Keisha. Failing that, the original three (including Mutya and Siobhan) should form a rival band!

RIP Sugababes

Its a good thing that Amelle has cut her hair otherwise her and Jade would look like twins! Bring back Keisha....without her, there IS NO Sugarbabes. Or better, still Mutya, Siobhan & Keisha should regroup and show these idiots what a sexy, diverse girl group really look and sound like.

What's everyone so worked up about? As I heard Jamie Theakston say on the radio this morning, Tottenham Hotspur is still Tottenham Hotspur even thought it doesn't have the same players as 10 or 15 years ago....

This isnt the sugababes anymore it is just a francise, it drives me crazy they are too lazy to start a new band so they are just carrying on with the name.

I don't understand how these groups work nowadays. With none of the original band members they can hardly be called the sugababes can they?

Why don't the original line up reform and battle it out with the group they made successful. Not that I'm particularly bothered about who lines up in this this group, it would be a laugh to have the Sugababes old stylee versus the Sugababes newbees.
