This balloon release "is wicked" and also thoughtless. Balloons that land in the sea - balloons released in London have ended up in the sea off Guernsey - can kill turtles and cetaceans (whales and dolphins.) These animals die of intestinal blockage because they ingest the partially deflated balloons that are floating on the sea surface mistaking them for prey items.

Their is most likely going to be a fight with getting your hands on those balloons. In a way I am happy that I won't be part of the ballon grabbing fight, but on the other hand, I am sad that the contest was only for the UK! I live in the US and I am sure that no ballons will reach all the way over here and if any of the balloons do make it over to the US than all I can say is "WOW!!!"

I don't think this will clutter and litter the world. People are going to be fighting over these balloons. I'm all the way in the US and I'm searching the skies for a death eater balloon. It would be so tight to be in a HP movie!! LONG LIVE HARRY POTTER (and luna)!!!!

Do they not know that these will land all over the country and make a enormous mess? Like mass scale litter.

I have to say, I’m very disapointed with WB, Matt and Evanna. It was a neat idea, but terrible execution.

How could they not know what trouble this can cause? Do they just not care?
