Alexandra Burke's search for a man could soon be over after we caught her being naughty with a Shortie.

Shortie and sweetie: Alex and Master at Mobos

The Hallelujah singer, 21, hooked up with rapper Master Shortie at the Mobo Awards last night, where she told us she was determined “to have a bit of fun”.

They met at the Glasgow show's afterparty and spent most of the night looking very cosy. Our spy said: “The pair were getting on like a house on fire and were laughing and joking with each other.

“Once Tinchy Stryder's song Never Leave You came on, Alex was the first to pull Master Shortie up to dance and they were grinding together in front of everyone.

“Later they were standing by the food table in the VIP room and Alexandra gave him her number. He seemed pleased as punch.”

When we asked Master Shortie, 20, if he liked her, he replied coyly: “She's really nice.”

She sure is — earlier, asked if she minded losing out to X Factor rivals JLS for best UK newcomer, Alex said: “No way, man, they are my brothers.”

She also told us she's still friends with her former X Factor mentor Cheryl Cole — despite the fact they will be going head-to-head in the charts later this month, Alex with Bad Boys and Cheryl with Fight For This Love.

Alexandra said: “We were on the phone last night, and I was busting moves to her song. Cheryl said, Oh my God, your song's so catchy. I've been bopping to the moves'.”
