Tickets to Capital FM's Jingle Bell Ball sold out today, within an hour of the first five major artists being announced.

Lady GaGa, JLS, Tinchy Stryder, Lily Allen and Noisettes were announced by breakfast duo Johnny Vaughan and Lisa Snowdon at 8am, and all 20,000 tickets have now been sold.

Belle of the ball: Lady GaGa was confirmed today

But London Lite readers eager to attend the biggest indoor music event of the year need not despair. As the exclusive media partner of the Jingle Bell Ball, the Lite will be giving away a number of tickets in competitions in the coming weeks.

Tickets will also be given away on 95.8 Capital FM, and we will be bringing exclusive announcements and gossip in the lead-up to the event at the O2 Arena on Saturday, 5 December.

The Jingle Bell Ball, with sponsor Windows 7, will be hosted by Johnny Vaughan and Lisa Snowdon, along with the Big Top 40's Rich and Kat. The ball is supporting Capital's flagship charity, Help A London Child, with a donation being made from the proceeds of the event.

At the weekend, thousands of Capital FM listeners logged on to capitalfm.com and registered as VIPs to get the first option on tickets.
The tickets were so popular, the station had 40 times more people than ever registering as a Capital VIP.

On stage: Tinchy Stryder, Lily Allen, Shingai Shoniwa of Noisettes and JLS's Aston Merrygold

This morning Johnny Vaughan said: “It feels great to have the most popular balls in London!”
