The couple looked very cosy together on the front row of a catwalk show at Paris Fashion Week, with Katy, 24, placing a hand tenderly on 34-year-old Russ's knee. It's almost enough to bring a tear to the eye. It certainly caught the eye of Prince — who famously changed his name to just a squiggle — and singer Bria Valente. They were looking over and whispering to each other like naughty children.

Also on the front row at the John Galliano show was Dita Von Teese, who couldn't resist having a nose herself. Our spy at the show said: “Russell and Katy had everyone's tongues wagging with their public display of affection.”

Goodness knows, I'm a big fan of his, but when is he going to hook up with someone who is his intellectual equal, (and maybe nearer his own age), rather than someone over-caked in make-up. I don't know much about this one, she may be quirky, she may be more than a vacuous bimbo, but I still think he can do better. She kissed a girl and she liked it - is that enough Russ?
