Updated 10:03am on 9 Oct 2009

Eighties pop star Bonnie Tyler is set to return to the charts at the age of 58 — almost a quarter of a century after her last hit.

Swansea star: Bonnie Tyler is set to return to the charts

The Welsh singer has recorded a new version of her pop classic Total Eclipse Of The Heart, a world-wide No 1 in 1983, with male voice choir Only Men Aloud, winners of BBC's Last Choir Standing. The new single, out on Monday, has revived her career.

Tyler, seen above with the choir and, left, in her Eighties heyday, has had a role in Hollyoaks, where she sang her last hit Holding Out For A Hero, and Top Shop has launched a range of Bonnie Tyler T-shirts.

Bonnie is awesome, I hope she does more concerts soon. I would live to see her perform live.
