Hollywood heart-throb George Clooney arrived in London with his latest foxy lady for the premiere of Fantastic Mr Fox.

In toon: girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis and George Clooney

The actor voices the title character in the animated movie of the much-loved Roald Dahl children's classic, which also features Bill Murray and Meryl Streep in the cast.

Clooney will make the first of three red carpet appearances tonight when he joins Streep at the launch of the 53rd London Film Festival. Last night he turned up looking tired at his central London hotel with Italian girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis, 30, whom he has been dating since the summer.

Clooney, 48, is set to be the dominant figure of the film festival fortnight. He also stars in two other movies getting their British premieres — the hotly awaited comedies The Men Who Stare At Goats and Up In The Air.
