Amy Winehouse has revealed how Bruce Forsyth used to give her nightmares when she was a youngster.

The Rehab singer met the Strictly Come Dancing host at BBC studios when she performed on the BBC1 dance show last weekend.

Winehouse, who performed backing vocals for her god-daughter Dionne Bromfield during the show, confessed all about her bad dreams to the presenter, according to the BBC.

The official Twitter feed for the programme said today: "Amy Winehouse confessed to Bruce that she had seven years of nightmares about him after he played a villain in Bedknobs And Broomsticks."

Winehouse proved she was no longer afraid of Brucie, who played shady criminal Swinburne in the 1971 children's film, as she managed to sing without buckling in fear.

They both give me nightmares. He for being very corny and very unfunny and she for her talenless singing and the bad example she sets to the younger generation. Perhaps all broadfcasters could vow never to employ either of them again
