After Leona Lewis was attacked at a publicity event for her new album, we take a look at her career so far and her rise to stardom.
On 16th December 2006 she was announced as the winner of the X Factor.
A Moment Like This, her debut single, became the fastest selling UK single when it was downloaded 50,000 times in the first 30 minutes after its release.
Her single Bleeding Love won the Record of the Year award in December 2007 and went to number 1 in countries all over the world.
Her single Run became the fastest selling download-only release; selling almost 70,000 copies in two days.
Her album Spirit, released in 2007 became the fastest selling debut album, the biggest seller of 2007 in the UK and Ireland and made her the first British solo artist to top the Billboard 200 with a debut album.
