Peter Andre's furious phone row with cage fighter Alex Reid
Updated 17:07pm on 15 Oct 2009Peter Andre spoke today of a furious phone row with the new boyfriend of his ex-wife Katie Price over access to his children.
The glamour model, also known as Jordan, claimed on her Twitter page that Andre used threatening language in the conversation with cage fighter Alex Reid.
But Andre, who has two children with Price, denied her claims, although he said he had lost his temper after not being allowed to speak to son Junior, four and two-year-old daughter Princess Tiaamii.
Speaking on ITV1's This Morning he said: "For five days I was not allowed to speak to my kids. And then the night before last I got on the phone saying 'I want to speak to my kids' and I was handed the phone to this man who said he's 'the man of the house' now and he refused me to speak to my children.
"Now, I'm not perfect, I am human, I am a father and I don't know any father that would not react to some man saying 'no, you're not speaking to them', and I lost my temper - I admit it.
Andre and Price split earlier this year and their initially dignified front quickly dissolved into a bitter war of words.
Andre today denied Price's claims that he had used aggressive language towards Reid.
"I didn't say... not even close to most of those words and I look at it and think it's a bit cheeky.
"I could've handled it maybe if it was kept private but this man should not have come out there trying to act like Dad and not let me speak to my kids.
"That's probably why I over reacted," he added.

Poor Pete. Jordan has only known her new fella for few months, and already is he is filmed everywhere she goes, seems like he has moved in the house and is now taking over Pete's kids. Who do they think they are. Pete seems a brilliant father x

I tatally agree with pete ,how dare another man whos been on the seen with jordan for two minutes have the cheek to tell him he cant speak to HIS own children,id of done alot more than just swear at the meathead and i bet any other parent would of to.

I feel very sorry for Pete, who has to watch this man Alex weedle his way into the kids lives He his only after the Mother, and to think he has the cheek to play Daddy after such a short time is just unbelieveable.
Pete, do not get drawn into this sleaze.
Be a good Dad, and the kids will eventually understand you have doine nothing wrong.

no man should not be told thy can not speak to his children espesialy when thy are not his children thy are peters i think he should have a medal bean mairred to her

Pete, I believe you have the right to speak to the kids. Katie and Alex have to respect you as the father of the kids. Alex, please take this piece of advice. Try and stay away from issues like these and put yourself in Pete shoes, if you would have been angry to be denied having to speak to your kids.

i think that alex reid should butt out when it comes to katie and peters children, i am totally on petes side, he should get to see his kids whenever he wants . katie is totally out of order for letting alex say that to him hes a nobody anyway and pete is a much nicer attractive person , i dont blame pete for not wanting him around his children what example is he.

Jordan is really pushing Peter! By his example Peter shows he is a loving and caring parent, whose only desire is to put his children first.
