Gary Lineker's lad scores £7k for his 18th birthday
By London Lite Last updated at 13:11pm on 20.10.09Gary Lineker was clearly determined to make sure that his son's 18th birthday bash was going to be one to remember — after splashing out an estimated £7,000 for a night out at Mahiki.

It was the birthday that might never have been for brave George, who overcame a battle with leukaemia when he was just a year old.
So perhaps that's why the former England striker treated him and 30 pals to an all-expenses paid evening at the Mayfair club.We're told: “George arrived with all of his mates just after 9pm, and they were taken to a private area on the first floor of the club.”
The group kicked off their night with a Crystal champagne Treasure Chest cocktail — an alcoholic punch topped with champagne and served in a lined wooden box.
Gary wasn't at the bash, no doubt wanting to let his son have a good time without having his old man cramping his style (now that's a cool dad).
George is one of four sons from Gary's first marriage to Michelle, which ended in 2006. The couple were together for 20 years. George was diagnosed with a rare form of leukaemia just six weeks after he was born and received intensive treatment at London's Great Ormond Street Hospital. Gary spent seven months at his bedside as the little boy battled to recover.
Our Mahiki mole said: “They were all definitely up for having a good time as the drinks kept on flowing. They got through about five chests by the end of the night.
“But they were also drinking shots and champagne. Everyone was looking over at George because of his likeness to his dad. He was being very friendly to everyone and was clearly just up for enjoying his birthday in style.”
The whole shebang ended just before 3am.
