She looked stunning in a figure-hugging silk blue dress with knee-high boots as she left the Theatre Royal in Haymarket. It's a shame she chose the less-than-glamorous venue The Sports Café across the road to have a few drinks with her fellow cast members until 2am.

Across the pond, Lindsay Lohan looked like she had been dragged backwards through a desiccated coconut factory. The 23-year-old was at a New York bash, where her dyed blonde hair, puffy face and crows' feet did not go at all well with her pink furry jacket.

Lindz is supposed to have been “sober” since 2007, but last week her father Michael claimed she is addicted to painkillers.

He told US chat show Maury: “I was out in LA with her about three weeks ago when she got robbed. I couldn't even look at her. I had to go outside and cry and when I hugged her, it's just a hollow, hollow person. I hate to speak out publicly like this about Lindsay. But it's for all the parents and the teens out there. I've seen what it's done.
